Harcourt Fly Fishing 3G is open for business for both float and wade trips. Fly fishing out of a boat can really be a lot of fun, even if you have never fly fished before. The fishing is really good right now as our day and nights are cooling down. This is really great for the fish as the water temperatures cool down, and in turn increases the available oxygen in the water. With the cooler temperatures, the fish become much more active, and the Brown Trout are getting into their pre-spawn mode. We are currently having massive hatches of baetis, pale morning duns, red quills, tricos and there is still a few caddis. Additionally, the trout are slamming streamer patterns. You guide will help you change your flies to what’s happening at the moment. We provide all the equipment you need and include the flies at no extra charge to you. As mentioned, the fishing is really good right now with all the different hatches. Be sure to check out our trip of Big Fish on Spring Creeks. this has really been fishing well, especially for new people to the sport, and occurs on a private ranch with a rod fee. You won’t regret your time in our valley. Be sure to bring your camera, as our fall colors should start appearing in the next 10 days. It’s one of the best places in all of the Western United States, and Field and Stream Magazine says “Glenwood Springs is the #1 fishing town in America”. What’s stopping you? Come Join the Fun!!!!
Now is the time to start booking your fall trips for 2022 for the prime times. If you are a novice or expert, get out and enjoy the moment now. The fishing conditions are changing day to day so, please give us a call for the current fishing conditions, and to book your trip. Book your trip for now or in the future. Contact us
A new honor for me, I was selected the 2019 “Best of the Rockies” Best Guide by Elevation Outdoor Magazine There is a big difference when you say you are the best, and the community say “yes, you are the best”. This represents the 6 states of Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, New Mexico, and Colorado, and it is considered the most prestigious award in the West. I was one of only two fishing guides, the others were climbing, snowboarding and rafting, hunting etc. with over 10,000 guides to choose from. This is quite a honor for me, and I hope you will come share my office with me, as it is special, plus my prices are still the lowest in the valley.
Why would you look elsewhere? Plus we just have fun.
