Wow, we just partnered with the White River National Forrest to do a modest hike in trip to fish for wild Cutthroat trout, along with some brookies and browns trout. We’ll take you into a spectacular canyon, with cascading water falls, so be sure to bring your camera. Every few steps there is another pocket to fish. This is an awesome trip to try out one of our 1 weight fly rods. While most of the trout will be in the smaller range, there are a few 17 or 18 inch brown will give you a thrill of a lifetime. This is a great trip for beginners to experts that especially just want to get away and find the true joys that Colorado has to offer, and probably never see another person. This is a great creek prior to runoff in April and May, and once the spring runoff subsides it will fish extremely well clear into November. This is also a great trip to do when the bigger rivers get blown out and off color from rain storms. Check this out, you won’t be sorry.
