While our float trips are extremely popular, our wade fly fishing trips, in and around Glenwood Springs, Colorado, are epic as well. I am honored to be Elevation Outdoor Magazine “Best of the Rockies”, “Best Guide” covering 6 states. as well as being voted the “Local’s favorite guide” multiple times. We have access to so much public water to fish, as well as some private ranches that require an addition rod fee. Whether you an experienced angler or a novice, we will take you to some of our favorite honey holes. We wade fish 11 months out of the year, with January usually being iced over. So if your legs get a little tired of skiing and you’re looking for some fun times, be sure to check us out. Our diversity of insect hatching goes on year round. The State of Colorado has designated much of the waters we fish as Gold Medal trout waters. This means our trout waters are the best of the best our state has to offer.
We have access to fish the legendary Frying Pan River above Basalt, as well as the Roaring Fork, Crystal and Colorado Rivers. Additionally, we have access to some small creeks that are teaming with fish. Be sure to check out our Bar ZX trip where you will catch more than likely, the biggest trout in your entire life.
